One of the most stunning off-river hiking trails is the Big Creek trail. This takes you up the largest tributary to the Middle Fork Salmon River.
A nice short but steep hike up to the Shark Fin Pictographs. Some of the best pictographs in the corridor.
One of the last functioning ranches in the corridor, the Flying-B Ranch is a great stop and a fun place to hike to or from camp along the river corridor trail.
Hospital Bar Hot Springs is a midday riverside stop for a quick warm up.
