WILDLIFE VIEWING & PHOTO SAFARI TRIP
ON THE
MIDDLE FORK SALMON RIVER
We are bringing this back from the Hughes River Vault. Jerry & Carole did an annual Wildlife Viewing & Photography trip each of the first 15+ seasons after they started the company and now it is back!
During the early spring season the Middle Fork Salmon River corridor becomes a highway for ungulates that are in transition moving between their winter and summer ground. These animals include; Big Horn Sheep, Goats, Elk and Mule Deer. Other animals that are likely to be spotted include Black Bear, Otter, Ermine, Marmots, Bald & Golden Eagles and a wide variety of other birds of prey.
Plan on a full-amenity, cozy Hughes camping set up each night with all the stops! Three deluxe meals each day and a ton of fun on and off the water! We will camp at the hot springs as much as possible and take our time down through the canyon for the full wildlife viewing experience! There will be time for side hikes through known passages and other side attractions such as pictographs and 19th & 20th century homesteads. Bring your warmies and get ready for an absolutely amazing opportunity to see this Middle Fork of the Salmon River corridor come to life going!
